love looks beautiful…..

If you’re here, you're either a beautiful couple in love, a fellow artist, a wonderful vendor, a friend, or a family member.  Thank you so much for finding us and Marlene and I would love to welcome you all as our family!  We like to think our images epitomize the crazy emotions love brings out in all of us!  But, that’s not say we don’t have fun.  We really don’t take ourselves very seriously, but we do take our art seriously.  We have created this space not only to share our most current work, but also to give you a glimpse of who we are as a husband, a wife, and a family.  Have fun, look around, and leave some comments for us!  If you’re ready to talk and be a part of our world, call or email us!  By the way,  Zoë and Ray say hi!!

cloudy with a chance

This morning’s run was like any other since beginning 2 months ago. Stepping away from my house and seeing the road ahead of me, I started thinking. I don’t use earphones when I run. Reason #1-I like to hear when cars are coming my way (I’m paranoid that one day I’ll become road kill). And #2- I love to be alone with my thoughts. I go over what needs to be done, what I’ve accomplished, and just how good it feels to be outside. Yup, today was like the other days. Until the clouds came and the cold wind blew so deep in my throat that I actually had to stop and cough, just to catch my breath. Whoa! Ok, I kept going. Somewhere between my to-do list and oooohhhh this is so nice, a raindrop fell on my cheek. I knew the rain was coming, but neh, not yet. As the raindrops continued to fall, I looked down at the gray streets that were slowly getting darker and darker one drop at a time. As I reached mile 2, the clouds grew angrier and streets were now slick and dark. I ran faster and enjoyed every drop that fell on my face. I stopped in the middle of the street and looked up and stopped to enjoy this moment. I’m a mom, a wife, a friend, sister, daughter, and photographer. Sometimes you need to stop in your tracks and enjoy life, no matter where you are. I said a short prayer and thanked God for my blessings…….love marlene……..

April 14, 2010 - 10:56 am Mary Apisakkul - Hi, Marlene! This is Mary (of Mary and Winston). :) I loved your post about your run. I always admire people that actually love to run (I can't seem to muster up that same enjoyment). You're a good writer too; keep it up!
